General
White is the primary colour in this game. Similar to the first games of Charles Darrow the gameboard is round. Many things are the same as of the standard edition. But some things have changed.
The stations, electric company and waterworks have new places. And there are new fields. In german the names are old-fashioned. So the name for gas is like the water-works gas-works. There are no gas-works today in germany. Also the name for communications to communication-works is deplaced. This is no german word. There are several descriptions found in the net. Also the Rocket-Zone can be misinterpreted in german. A rocket is the name for destroying, too. A train- or fly-zone would be better.
And there is a logical error on the income-tax field: why is there used the ring of the luxus-tax field? For the Luxus-tax it's okay, but for the income-tax?
The prices and rents from the new games (banking etc.) have now reached Opernplatz, Schlossallee & Co. Now the values goes to the millions.
And PARKER? There is no Parker mentioned. Only on the back of the manual you can see Parker. And there is one missed at the game, too: No picture of Mr. Monopoly. Either in the MONOPOLY-Logo there is no Mr. Monopoly. And Jake, the Jailbird - the man in the prison, is away. By the way, the splitted Jail (in jail/just visiting) isn't there. There is no way for visiting. And the symbol for the jail isn't so clear as in the past.

 | Beginning with the parts, that are not in the game: there is no money. This is known from the Banking-Editions. Also the cards from the community- and changefields are not in the game. This part now is made by the cardreader. You can see the information on the cardreaderdisplay. If you land on a special field on the board (Questionmark or Handshake) you have to press one of two buttons on the cardreader. And there are more changes at the rules. If there were problems so far in trading between players in the exchange of roads, now this can be enforced here, if you will land on the zonefield (Questionmark). This question mark appears also right in the game on the bank card reader and is for the one who just pulled his card from the cardreader. |  |
The dice
 | There are still classic dice. It' great that this feature is not integrated in the cardreader. The cubes are slightly smaller than in previous editions. You have now more European and non-American style. Interestingly, the quick play dice is missing. |
Houses and Hotels
 | House and hotels are classical and new. The design is identical with the older games. But the material and the design are new. Made of clear plastic, they remind a little of the houses in the Onyx American version. |
Tokens
 | No token made of pewter. The wellknown symbols only exist as a picture. Die klassischen Symbole existieren hier nur noch als Bild. On bases established by clear plastic columns, the symbols are printed in color. |
Property Cards
 | Until now, on the last lines of propertycards the sentence is printed that the double rent is to pay for vacant land if you own all the roads. This sentence is missing now on the cards, but is located in the manual. No wonder, since the cards are much smaller than before. Even in the LOS Edition had the cards, the "normal" size. Due to the small cards many values are displayed as icons. |
Cardreader
 | The cardreader from the banking edition was already expands with the deal button in the world edition. There are new functions on the revolution edition. Change and community cards are no longer there. These are now integrated in the reader. Incidentally, the unit will beep not only easy, but playing music for special occasions. The following items are among other things: Bad Day, Umbrella, Drive My Car, revolution, These Boots Are Made for Walkin', Crazy in love, I'm so excited, Bicycle Race, Celebration, Rocket Man, Happy Birthday and the Wedding March. For more functions, the device needs more power, there is a battery more now. A switch to another currency level is not possible. You can't distinguish different country versions. But there is a number under the battery compartment. In the german game it's the 00841. |
Cards
 | The cards have the same dimensions and functionality as the previous editions with bank card readers. Striking is the rather spartan design. Were on the previous card still different names and numbers are pictured, there are only numbers, and they are the same on all cards. There is also no need to print them. |
