General
After the Forint now the Monopoly-Dollar has reached the game. The Monopoly-Dollar is written as a big letter M with a doublestrike.
So far it was not usual except with the US version, to mark the Monopoly signature with "BRAND".
The representation of Mr. Monopoly changed very much. He became three-dimensional now as seen on some console games before. By the way on the back of the box there is much place for an advertisement was granted. Electronic Arts refers on there Internet site, where you can found on-line versions of Monopoly. The site is however only English.
In the past it would be tried with simple high-speed rules to accelerate the game. Here this was managed by a third die. So far this die is known from the Mega Edition.
Content
On the new die there are 3 sides with 1,2 and 3 pips. There are also two sides with Mr. Monopoly and one side with a bus.
The rules with this die:
- 1,2 oder 3: add to the other two dice.
- Bus: If the other dice shows e.g. 1 and 5 you can select 1,5 or 6 fields to go.
- Mr. Monopoly: first you have to go the number of fields of the other dice. Then you have to go to the next free field and buy this field or put it in a auction. If there is no free field, the player has to go to the next field of a competitor.
- All dice show the same pips: the player is free to go to any field.
Houses and Hotels
Houses and hotels correspond to the standard. They are from plastic and have roof projection and a chimney.
Tokens
The 10 tokens are car, barrow, dog, cannon, iron, cylinder, ship, rider, shoe and thimble.
Money
Black printing on colored normalthick paper.
