MONPOLY - ELECTRÓNICO: EDICIÓN MUNDIAL was released on 2008, Aug. 8th. Barcelona has reached the Gameboard.
Content
So many different houses and hotels to this time were only found in the USA 70 Years Anniversaryversion. There are 6 different house and 6 different hotel types. These come from north and South America, Europe, Africa, Asia and Australia.
Remarkable is also the back of the packing. There is a very prominent advertisement for the Internet site of Electronic Arts (EA). The side is only available in english. The games are playable partly only in the USA and Canada.
Money and Currency
There are no cash notes in this game. In this game, there is a new currency: The Monopoly-Dollar "M"
The individual cards differ by the colors and the third place in the first number block. The cards are differtiate with the notches equal to them of the Banking and Simpson-Versions.
Like in the bankingversion this game content a so called "cardreader". Contrary to the bankingversion this reader can do still more. Here you have a "Deal Button", so free properties come fast among the players. The arrangement of the keys does not even correspond to a standard (neither of a pocket calculator, nor of a telephone).
Altogether there are 24 figures. As is the case for the houses there are here 6 groups. 4 typical figures were assigned to each group. In each game are 6 pieces contained. More one cannot use than 6 figures actually also, since there are also only 6 money cards. In addition, with the game with cash notes (e.g. The Netherlands) one gets only 6 figures. This is interesting because on a standard game you have 8 figures (in the USA standard games even up to 11 figures!). However play figures are somewhat larger in this version than in the standard game. It's pure luck which set of figures you get when you buying a game.
