In the beginning of 2008 there was the possibility to vote for the fields of this version for six weeks. You were able to select within 70 towns. Russia doesn't reach the board. But Riga and Kiev (towns of the former USSR where russian is a used language, too) are on the board.

Content

So many different houses and hotels to this time were only found in the USA 70 Years Anniversaryversion. There are 6 different house and 6 different hotel types. These come from north and South America, Europe, Africa, Asia and Australia. The difference to the boxed version is the 3cm smaller board which is 6-times folded. Remarkable is also the back of the packing. There is a very prominent advertisement for the Internet site of Electronic Arts (EA). The side is only available in english. The games are playable partly only in the USA and Canada.

Money and Currency

There are no cash notes in this game. In this game, there is a new currency: The Monopoly-Dollar "M"
The individual cards differ by the colors and the third place in the first number block. The cards are differtiate with the notches equal to them of the Banking and Simpson-Versions.

Like in the bankingversion this game content a so called "cardreader". Contrary to the bankingversion this reader can do still more. Here you have a "Deal Button", so free properties come fast among the players. The arrangement of the keys does not even correspond to a standard (neither of a pocket calculator, nor of a telephone).
Interesting to see that there was no kyrrilic "MONOPOLY" text on the "cardreader" and the cards as on board and box/tin.

Extra Token Alltogether there are 30 token in this game. There are only 24 availaible token where you only can get randomly 6 in the boxed version. So you get all token plus an extra of six. With this game you can see, that there are only four possibilties, which token you can get at the boxed version.
